Climate KIC Alumni, ReConnect

Climate-KIC Alumni Association

Event Description

Climate KIC Alumni Association proudly presents "Climate Heroes" - the 2017 yearly event, where alumni and friends of the association will gather to reconnect and to network.

This year the event is all about motivation, inspiration and learning from each other and our speakers.

"Climate Heroes" is going to be held in the premises of CIC Rotterdam in the Groot Handesgebouw – the first building in Rotterdam for businesses built after World War II, which has a great old cinema in its original setting from the 70s overlooking the central station of the buzzing start-up hub of Rotterdam.

Participants have the chance to arrive on 24th, where a networking meet and greet session will be hosted. The main event and speakers’ sessions will take place on 25th. On 26th we have time to relax, reflect and you will get the opportunity to get more insights on what CKAA is, how to get involved and how to sign up for CKIC programmes.

The event will be moderated by Linda Vermaat, a sustainability enthusiasts and professional in facilitating international events. First speakers already confirmed – Rembrandt Koppelaar, writer of the book the Tesla Revolution. Representatives from Marie Curie Alumni Association, Protect Our Winters Europe, Barilla Food and Nutrition Foundation….(many more to come) will also shine on stage.

Come and celebrate with the alumni community. Please book that weekend and I hope to see you in Rotterdam.

This year each participant can book their own accommodation for the days up to 130 Euros for two nights based on average hotel rates in Rotterdam. After successful attendance participants will be reimbursed.

The Friday afternoon get together is just an addition and not a compulsory part of the programme. We will meet at 17:00, exact venue to be confirmed.
